WESTWOOD WINS THE SOCK AND UNDERWEAR DRIVE
[Message from Principal Arterbury]
Thanks to the entire Westwood community, including all our elementary and middle schools, who contributed to this great cause. Congratulations WESTWOOD for winning the 6th annual Sock/Underwear Drive! Between the two high schools and all of the feeder schools, a record setting total of 8,396 pairs socks and underwear were collected benefiting the Round Rock Clothes Closet! Westwood's community contributed 5,021!
But we all agree, the true winner here is the Round Rock Clothes Closet! A big thank you to all who participated in such a worthy cause! We’ll do it again next year! Here is McNeil's Principal, Mrs. Acosta, wearing Westwood orange at the game last week. Go Westwood!

The Canyon Creek staff would like to invite all students and parents to wear PINK on in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States (other than skin cancer). We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go. On ( ) show your support for all the Women and Men, who are or have once battled breast cancer by wearing your PINK.
